## Most Convictions Included Short Confinement

Of the 14 cases, 13 ended in a conviction on at least one charge. Confinement was part of 12 of those sentences (92%). The median confinement was 3 months, compared with 6 months in the Air Force as a whole. A quarter of the sentences with confinement were 1 year or longer.

These are adjudged sentences, set at trial before any plea-agreement cap, clemency, or appeal. Each one covers every charge in the case.

## Guilty Pleas and Contested Cases

The records show 10 guilty pleas and 4 contested cases, meaning a not-guilty or mixed plea. The contested share, 29%, was lower than the 43% across the Air Force. Of the 4 contested cases that reached a verdict, 1 ended in a full acquittal.

A military judge alone decided 12 cases. Enlisted panels decided 2, so members heard 14% of the cases.

## Punitive Discharges

A punitive discharge followed 50% of enlisted convictions: 3 bad-conduct discharges and 3 dishonorable discharges. In the rest of the Air Force the share was 62%. The 1 convicted officer was dismissed. A sentence without a punitive discharge does not rule out a later administrative separation.

## Compared With 2019–2023

In 2019–2023 the installation had 39 cases, about 8 a year, compared with about 6 a year since. The contested share went from 42% to 29%. The median confinement went from 6 months to 3 months. The punitive discharge rate stayed at 50%.

In 2019–2023, 11 of 15 contested cases that reached a verdict ended in a full acquittal. Since 2024 the count is 1 of 4\. Groups this small can change with a few cases.

## Rank and Court Level

The accused were 9 junior enlisted members, 4 NCOs, and 1 officer, a more junior group than across the Air Force. General courts-martial made up 9 of the 14 cases (64%), compared with 56% in the rest of the Air Force.

## Peer Installations and Limits

Ramstein AB, Germany and McConnell AFB, Kansas tried a similar number of cases. Ramstein had a median confinement of 9 months, and McConnell had 3 months.

There were 5 cases in 2024, 7 in 2025, and 2 in 2026, a partial year. Since December 28, 2023, special trial counsel decide whether to prosecute covered offenses, but the records give trial dates, not offense dates. They also leave out nonjudicial punishment and administrative separation, and they do not describe the evidence or plea terms.
