Fox News reports that TKC Distilling, the parent company of The Kentucky Castle, terminated CEO Wes Henderson on Oct. 3 "in light of allegations" in a civil lawsuit. Inc. reports that no criminal charges have been filed and that his attorney says he "unequivocally denies" the allegations. The sequence is worth studying.

The lawsuit is a set of allegations. Fox News, citing The Courier Journal, reports that relatives filed the suit in June in Oldham County, Kentucky, and that the complaint is now sealed. A Tribune News Service report says the claims include invasion of privacy and voyeurism, based on alleged hidden-camera recordings. The same report says his attorney understands the complaint will be voluntarily dismissed. A complaint is one side's opening account. No court has ruled on it.
